The Entrepreneurship World Cup is a program that empowers entrepreneurs at all levels – from the idea stage through scale-up – helping them reach the next stage in their journey. It combines a pitch competition with access to a platform offering virtual training resources, targeted mentoring, perks, potential investment, and a shot at life-changing prizes.
The top EWC100 finalists compete for a share of US$1 million in prizes and potential additional investment opportunities and in-kind support. The Entrepreneurship World Cup is led by the Global Entrepreneurship Network and Monsha’at and is backed by a broad collection of entrepreneurial support organizations and strategic partners across more than 50 countries. The program was created in 2019 by GEN with support from its founding partner, the Misk Foundation.
In a groundbreaking move, BYBT is set to host the Barbados National Finals of the Entrepreneurship World Cup on the 21st of June. Aspiring entrepreneurs have until the 6th of May 2024 to submit their applications, seeking a chance to shine on a sglobal stage.
